Regulations of Cargo Tracking Note
As mandated by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce of the Republic of South Sudan, all shipments imported to or exported from the nation must have a Cargo Tracking Note (CTN). The South Sudan ECTN Certificate is now mandatory.
The official ECTN communication notifying all concerned authorities, shippers, and transporting companies regarding detailed information on the ECTN certificate was published by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce.
Carriers are obliged to obtain valid CTN numbers from shippers before loading. This requirement has been enforced fully from April 1, 2019 onwards.
South Sudan ECTN Certificate
For all shipments expected to load on or after April 1, 2019, the CTN number must be updated on shipping instructions before loading can occur, as shipping lines have stated.
GetCTN is fully committed to issuing ECTN certificates for all shipments heading to South Sudan. To obtain the CTN/ECTN number for your shipment, contact the team via email or live chat.
For additional questions, contact the organization directly. Please provide all necessary documentation in full to avoid delays in processing and to receive service as quickly as possible.
