International Cargo Tracking Note

Regulatory Definition

Another name for the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) used for some African destinations. It performs the same pre-shipment cargo verification function — reconciling shipper, consignee, cargo and declared values against the Bill of Lading ahead of a filing deadline that varies by destination.
