What is ARCCLA?
ARCCLA is the Angolan regulator that issues the cargo tracking certificate for shipments to Angola — the document long known as the CNCA. The certificate did not change; its name and the representative issuing it did.
Many agents now refer to the CNCA as an ARCCLA certificate. The renaming can cause hesitation, but it is an administrative shift rather than a new requirement.
What do you need to know about the ARCCLA certificate?
ARCCLA and CNCA are identical certificates. The only differences are:
- The names used to reference them
- The representatives handling them
If you obtained a CNCA certificate from an agent previously, be aware that your former agent may have discontinued their services following the recent changes.
How do you apply for an ARCCLA certificate?
You apply the same way as for a CNCA: send the shipping documents to an authorized agent, who validates them and issues the certificate. Angola asks for:
- Bill of Lading
- Commercial Invoice
- DU Document (Documento Unico)
- Freight Invoice
- ARCCLA Application Form
