These Terms govern your use of GetCTN and the cargo-waiver services we provide. By using the site or requesting a waiver you accept these Terms.
Our service
GetCTN is an independent compliance agent that prepares, validates and helps issue Electronic Cargo Tracking Notes and equivalent waivers (ECTN, BESC, CNCA, FERI, BIETC, ACD, ACID and others) required by destination customs authorities. We are not a government body and are not exclusively affiliated with any single customs department; we process declarations through the relevant official cargo-tracking systems.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipment documents and details. Certificates are issued on the basis of the information you supply. Inaccurate or incomplete information may lead to rejection, delays, penalties or the need to re-file, for which you are responsible.
Fees
The cost of a waiver comprises the destination government fee (which varies by country and shipment) plus our fixed service fee. The exact total is confirmed on your draft invoice before validation. Government fees are set by the destination authority and are outside our control.
Validation & amendments
A waiver is issued only after you approve the draft and settle the invoice. Once validated, a certificate is registered with the destination authority and generally cannot be modified or cancelled; amendments, where permitted, may incur additional fees.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetCTN is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a waiver is limited to the service fee paid for that waiver.
