Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GetCTN collects, uses and protects the information you provide when you request a cargo tracking waiver, upload documents or contact our compliance desk.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us to process a waiver: your name, company, email, phone/WhatsApp number, and the shipping documents you upload (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Freight Invoice and similar). We also collect basic usage data (pages viewed, approximate region from IP) to operate and improve the site.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to prepare, validate and issue your cargo tracking certificate, to respond to your enquiries, to send you the draft, invoice and final certificate, and to improve our service. We do not sell your personal data.

When we share information

To issue a certificate we share the necessary shipment data with the relevant destination customs authority, shippers’ council or their authorised platform (for example NAFEZA for Egypt or OGEFREM for DR Congo). We also use trusted service providers (hosting, email, analytics) bound by confidentiality. We never share your documents beyond what is required to complete your waiver.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can decline non-essential cookies at any time via your browser settings.

Data security

Uploads and form submissions are transmitted over encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data and handle it in line with applicable data-protection regulations, including the GDPR where it applies.

Data retention

We keep certificate and transaction records for as long as required to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and customs record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing, by contacting us. We respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
